Internship Overview
AmHyTech is seeking a highly motivated graduate student in chemistry or materials chemistry for a 12-week internship (Fall 2025) to support R&D efforts. The intern will work closely with our technical team to design, synthesize, and evaluate catalytic materials for efficient ammonia decomposition. This role is ideal for students with a strong background in scientific research and technical writing, especially those with experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize catalyst systems based on experimental results
- Synthesize and characterize heterogeneous catalysts
- Conduct lab-scale testing and performance evaluations
- Perform literature reviews and contribute to experimental planning
- Analyze and interpret data to guide system improvements
- Maintain accurate and well-organized research documentation
- Support preparation of technical reports and potential research publications
- Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot and refine processes
Required Qualifications
- Current graduate student (Ph.D.) in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong foundation in catalysis, materials synthesis, and/or inorganic chemistry
- Demonstrated experience in academic or industrial research, including contributing to or authoring scientific papers
- Knowledge of electrochemistry is a plus
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
